I attended for 3 weeks

I attended for 3 or so weeks back in 2013. Me and my friend dropped out because the teacher in the computer repair program allowed students he knew from before to play Xbox and video games all class. When we went to talk to the dean about it he did nothing so we dropped out. 3 years later I got a bill for around 3500 for those 3 weeks from general collections. Porter and Chester never attempted to contact me after conning me so I paid that and now I am being charged another 1000 in fees. Biggest scam on the planet these people are sleazy to the mass.

User's recommendation: Do not use product.

Student, Graduated, Regret it

Dont ever attend PCI. Not even when youre desperate. They are terrible people who dont care about a single student. They wait until they get your money and then they never speak to you again. Instructors are a joke and dont know anything more than the students. JOKE OF...

I am currently attending PCI for medical assisting. It's been 3 months and I've already learned so much.

My teacher is fantastic and very personable. I love hands on learning during our lab day every week. I also love that the online part of the program can be done on my own time, as long as everything is done by Sunday at 11:59pm. This makes my life as a stay at home mom so much easier because I can work during the day while my daughter is in school and then after she's gone to bed I can continue my work.

I also like that the externship is 340 hours where at Lincoln tech only 180 hours is needed. I believe the more hands on experience I get, the better off I'll be when it comes time to start my career. Also, when applying for school, the staff member that worked with me throughout the process was so helpful.

He always made sure that I knew what was expected from me and how long I had to do it. PCI is an amazing school and I don't have a single complaint to make.

Proof of admission.

Hi, my name is Legacee Teixeira, and I am beyond excited to be a part of your dental program. I will be starting in October very soon. You're being contacted to get proof of my admission due to the fact that I have signed up for a student discovery card. I had submitted my enrollment agreement, yet they informed me that I needed something that I did not e-sign. Please get back to me as soon as you can, thanks!

Bad experience from the beginning-registration!

My son just called me to tell me he received a call from a person at this institute to let him know that he will not be attending classes in July because there were not enough students that enrolled. I had to remind him of what they put him through with just trying to get him registered, they kept hounding him for their first payment due before July 7th. Thank God for all the comments because I was going to send the check on Saturday!

More comments can be found at: https://collegetimes.co/porter-and-chester-institute-stratford/ And if you do a little more digging, there's much MUCH more out there. It seems the people who are least able to afford things in this life are who wind up paying the most.
